Adv. Itay Mor: “There is a lot of confusion, I talked to senior airlines and it is still unclear how this decision will be implemented and the impact of the decision will probably be next week”

Advocate Itay Mor, the president of the Zionist movement “Over the Rainbow Portugal” interviewed by the Knesset channel about Portugal’s decision to ban Israelis, even vaccinated, from entering its territory from September 1.

In the interview Advocate Itay Mor explained that compared to Israel, Portugal did not exclude the United States from the list of green countries, for which there is also a recommendation from the EU. In general, Portugal tends to implement the EU decisions in an almost dry way, so this decision is not surprising.

Advocate Itay Mor compared the situation to what it was about 5-6 months ago when Israelis were forced to return to Israel on connection flights because the direct flights were canceled. In his opinion, this is what awaits flying to Portugal in the coming weeks as well.
