EnglishPortuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa announced two days ago progress in opening up the Portuguese economy. Progress is not self-evident in light of current infection data but the administration is determined to open up the market. Therefore, from this coming Monday, April 19, the economy will open more, including: high school education, higher education, cinemas, theaters, halls, concert halls, civil services with face-to-face service by prior arrangement, all shops / factories and shopping centers, restaurants, cafes and cake shops (maximum 4 people inside or 6 per table on terraces) until 22:00 or 13:00 on weekends and holidays, medium-risk sports activities, exercise outdoors for up to 6 people and gyms without group classes, outdoor events with reduced capacity, weddings and tables with a capacity of 25%.
