EnglishUnfortunately, we were informed of antisemitic activity in the Porto area. The activity includes markings of swastikas and antisemitic symbols throughout the city and in particular in the area of “Mountain of the Jews” Street in the city. Apparently, this is the neo-nazi group of Porto’s hooligans from the “escudo identitario” group. The association has begun investigating further details about the events including contacting officials in the Portuguese government in order to take appropriate action and eradicate the actions. We will be happy to share any information on the subject with you, including photos, events, stories and testimonies. These phenomena are the edge, and fortunately there are not many of them, but we will fight these phenomena all over Portugal as they occur – there is no place for it at all.
