Unique consular registration is now available across the consular network
The new Integrated Consular Management System (e-SGC), which introduces the unique registration form <; to the consular by citizen or user, regardless of the location of its opening or use, is already in operation throughout the Portuguese consular network.
Integrated into the New Consular Management Model (NMGC), the e-SGC eventually duplicates the consular registrations, since, using the number of the user's citizenship card as a basis, allows the change; registration for any other post of the Portuguese consular network is done through a simple update. Since the beginning of the e-SGC's entry into operation, there have already been 20,000 single consular registrations transferred between different consular posts.

This system is also the basis for the development of new applications and features provided for in the NMGC that will allow the direct practice of consular acts electronically through the Communities Portal or an application for mobile phones or tablets, as well as payment electronic, via the future e-Consul platform.
The e-SGC is available in 69 consular sections, 38 consulates-general, two consulates, eight vice-consulates, four consular offices and 23 honorary consulates, as well as at the Joint Views Center of Praia and at the Diplomatic Office. Portugal in Ramallah.
